ADHD Coaching with Jess Isn’t Easy—But It’s Worth It
By: Mitch Zilviuz
When I first started ADHD coaching with Jess, part of me hoped it would feel like a mental reset button. I imagined I’d walk out of each session feeling clear, focused, maybe even a little inspired—like I’d just left a spa for my brain.
But that’s not how it works exactly. At least, not for me.
The truth is, coaching with Jess has required me to do real work. I’ve had to show up honestly, face uncomfortable patterns, and push through resistance when I’d rather shut down or avoid. It hasn’t always felt good in the moment. Sometimes I leave a session feeling unsettled or stretched. But over time, I’ve realized that’s what growth actually looks like.
Progress didn’t come from waiting for some magical breakthrough. It came from repeatedly choosing to engage. Choosing to reflect. Choosing to try again.
And now, I can see the difference. I’m more aware of how my ADHD shows up in my day-to-day life. I’m learning tools that genuinely work for my brain. I’ve built momentum in areas that used to feel impossible to manage. The results didn’t show up overnight—but they are showing up, because I’ve been willing to show up.
Jess is a steady, grounded partner in the work. She listens deeply, asks powerful questions, and helps me find what actually works for me. But none of it would matter if I hadn’t been ready to roll up my sleeves and do the work.
So no, ADHD coaching with Jess isn’t a spa day. It’s more like strength training. You won’t always feel great during the session—but if you stick with it, the results speak for themselves.
It helps that she is such a wonderful human too.
Don’t give up. Do be work. Trust the process.
